A private island sanctuary of forty villas, framed by a house reef and an ocean that never stops breathing.
The Story
Solène was born from a single conviction — that true luxury is not what is added, but what is removed. No traffic. No crowds. No clocks that matter.
Forty villas are scattered across twelve hectares of untouched reef. Each faces the horizon, not each other. The island's only road is the ocean.
Our staff outnumber guests three to one, so that every wish is met before it is spoken — and every silence is left undisturbed.
The Villas
Choose between the reef's edge, the lagoon's heart, or the island's interior grove. Every villa is a private world.
Overwater
120 m² · Direct lagoon access · Private deck with sun loungers and a freshwater plunge pool.
Signature
210 m² · House reef snorkel access · 18 m infinity pool, outdoor shower, and butler pantry.
Beachfront
165 m² · Private beach · Set within a palm grove with a walled garden and open-air bath.
Private Beach Experience
Two kilometres of powder-white sand wrap the island's eastern edge. Reserve it for an afternoon, a sunset, or an entire day — and the staff vanish along with the rest of the world.
Spa & Wellness
Our overwater spa is built above the reef, so the sound of the ocean is the only soundtrack to your treatment. Treatments draw on Maldivian, Ayurvedic, and Japanese traditions — adapted to you, never templated.
Fine Dining
Each restaurant is a different conversation between the island and the ocean — led by ingredients caught, grown, or foraged the same morning.
Modern Maldivian · Reef-to-table tasting menu, seven courses.
Wood-fired · Line-caught fish and island-grown produce.
Feet in the surf · A private table set at the water's edge.
Activities & Adventures
Step off your deck into a living reef. Resident marine biologists guide dawn and dusk drifts.
World-class drift dives with sharks, mantas, and schooling jacks — a 10-minute boat ride away.
A traditional wooden dhow, a chilled supper, and two hours of golden light on open water.

Guest Voices
"We arrived exhausted and left unfinished — in the best way. We simply ran out of days before we ran out of things to love."
"The staff anticipated a request I had only half-formed. I have never felt so quietly cared for."
"The house reef alone is worth the journey. We snorkeled every morning and saw something new each time."

Location
Solène sits on a private island in the Vaavu Atoll, reached by a 35-minute seaplane flight from Malé. The journey is the overture — and the first thing guests remember.
